Prof. dr. sci. Orhan Kubati has completed medical studies in Zagreb. His experience in the field started by completing residency in Ophthalmology in Belgrade and postgraduate studies in Zagreb. He has defended doctoral thesis in the field of strabology in Pristina and subspecialized in the same field in Belgrade, Lyon/France and Koln/Germany.
He has more than 80 papers and scientific works published as author and co-author in former-Yugoslavia in addition to international gatherings. Jointly with prof. dr. Qamil Haxhiu, he is the publisher of the first book of “Ophthalmology for Medical and Dental School Students”. Apart of being invited speaker in 39th International Congress of Ophthalmology Society in Turkey he also participated in many European and world congresses.
Throughout his work he received great number of commendations for scientific contribution in international panel of 39th International Congress of Turkish Ophthalmology Society in 2005, along with commendations of University of Pristina for exceptional contribution in advancing of teaching-researching process in 1974, 1985, 2004 and 2007. Kosovar Society for application of ultrasound in medicine awarded him with a commendation for his contribution in symposiums and the first International Congress of Ultrasonography Diagnosis in Medicine 2003-2006.
In April 2023, Prof. Dr. Orhan Kubati, with his tireless work, continued his contribution to science with the publication of the book "Eye, organ of vision (philosophy of sight,anomalies of refraction)". This publication will greatly help future generations in ophthalmology. He is also the founder of the Eye Laser Center "KUBATI".

Dr. Salihu is an expert of the anterior segment surgery.
He has completed his trainings in prestigious ophthalmologic centers in Europe such as London, Moscow, Madrid, Ljubljana, Roma, Istanbul etc.
He leads the field of application of modern methods in surgical treatment of cataract, glaucoma, lacrimal system and plastic reconstructive surgery in our country. Currently he is president of Kosovo Ophthalmology Society. He is active participant in many national and international conferences as invited speaker.

Dr.Kubati- Ajeti has completed medical studies and residency in Ophthalmology field in Pristina. She has defended her master thesis entitled “Influence of Refraction Anomalies in Concomitant Strabismus Manifestation”.
She is a teaching assistant in Ophthalmology Department of University of Pristina. She practiced last years of her vocational training with Prof. Dr. Orhan Kubati. In these 15 years she used to work exclusively only with children.
High interest in pediatric Ophthalmology made her active participant of many national and international gatherings and congresses with many works as author and co-author. She conducted training for refractive surgery in “Svjetlost” Policlinic in Zagreb.

Dr. Zhuri has completed medical school and residency in Ophthalmology field in Pristina.
In the course of his residency he attended trainings in Eye Clinic in Leuven/Belgium. After his residency, he continued his trainings and vocational improving in one of the well-known clinics in Istanbul-Retina Istanbul Institute. Dr.Zhuri conducted training for refractive surgery in “Svjetlost” Policlinic in Zagreb.
He is also an active participant of national and international gatherings and congresses. After he started to work in our clinic he has completed a one-year training of vitreoretinal surgery in Alcon Training Center in Ljubljana. He is EU certificated vitroretinal surgeon. Dr.Burim Zhuri is the first vitreoretinal resident surgeon in Kosovo.

Dr. Zekolli has completed medical studies in University Clinical Center of Tirana – Albania.
He has completed his residency in Ophthalmology in Eye Clinic of University Clinical Center of Kosovo in Pristina.
He conducted training for vitreoretinal surgery in University Clinical Center of Helsinki-Finland where he furthermore attended a special training for ocular oncology. He is an active participant of congresses and important national and international ophthalmic seminars. He is EU certificated vitroretinal surgeon. He also attended trainings for Cataract and refractory surgery in Sweden and Germany.
Dr.Muhamet Zekolli is one of the first vitreoretinal resident surgeons in Kosovo.

Dr Mentor Ilazi graduated the Faculty of Medicine at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo. He has completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University Clinical Center of Tirana - Albania. Dr. Mentor Ilazi is the author and co-author of several scientific works. He is also an active participant in important international and local ophthalmological congresses and seminars.

Dr.Islam Bytyqi has completed medical studies in University Clinical Center of Kosovo. After graduation he worked at several health institutions as a medical doctor. In 2006 he completed his residency in Anesthesiology and intensive care medicine at University Clinical Center of Kosovo.
Same year he started to work in University Clinical Center of Kosovo as anesthesiologist at intensive care unit.
He conducted several trainings organized by ESSA, also on Prague he attended a special training for anesthesiology.
He is an active participant of many important national and international trainings.

Dr. Artan Ukshini has completed medical studies in University Clinical Center of Kosovo. He has completed his residency in Ophthalmology in Eye Clinic of University Clinical Center of Kosovo in Pristina and at the Laser Eye Center "Kubati".Dr. Artan Ukshini in the wake of professional development in November 2019 completed a fellowship for Glaucoma, then in October 2022 he completed the subspecialization for uveitis, both of these at the Ankara University Clinical Center. Dr. Ukshini is an active participant in important local and international trainings.
