Fluorescein Angiography-FAG is a method of screening with contrast

Whereby reflects and discovers the changes that occur in the retina due to various diseases.
Contrast called fluorescein is given in the vein and after a few seconds it reaches the blood vessels in retina. Afterwards photos will be taken with machine called fundus camera.
Fluorescein Angiography is used for the diagnosis of many diseases such as: diabetic retinopathies, senile degeneration of the macula, occlusion of arteries or of the veins in the retina, inflammatory processes in retina and other.
