This innovative laser dramatically shortens the diopter removal time, surpassing its predecessors AMARIS 750S and AMARIS 500E, which is achieved in just 1.3 seconds per diopter. Practically, this means that with a shorter treatment time, the risk of dehydration of the cornea is minimized.
Moreover, the time the patient has to fixate on the green light is significantly shorter.
